IT WAS the return of the event for the first time in three years and organisers were pleased with the turnout at Pant-y-dwr Show.

The event was held on Pencraig Fields and at Pant-y-dwr Community Hall on Saturday, August 20, with a brilliant day enjoyed by all who attended.

“Wow, what a turnout for the first show after Covid. What a fantastic day we have had and for once the weather was with us,” organisers said in a post on the show’s Facebook page.

“A brilliant show with excellent entries in hall/sheep shearing and attending the show, thanks to all who contribute the success off the show, from VIPs to sponsors.

“A huge thank you to all the stewards, both in the hall and on the field, as without your help and contribution towards the show it would not take place. The MC for the day Jeff Evans I’m sure all will agree he was a star

“Thank you to the presidents this year Roger and Marian. Thank you to all the judges and all exhibitors in every section as you make the show.

“Once again the show could not go on without the dedicated support from all our vice presidents and sponsors, thank you so much. Already looking forward to 2023.”
